I just found that there are few things missing in Zoor Theme Documentation book, like slider documentation.
I will try to complete these missing things in 1-2 days.
Regarding slider, please let me know if you are still having any difficulty.
Are you working on a live website or on a local server.
If you are working on a live website, can you please send me your FTP, Drupal login details to admin@drupar.com
If you are working on a local server, you can do a test drupal installation on any live server.

I'm on live web server and cannot put it under maintenance to long. I switch on Zoor theme just to test the result.
I'll create you a drupal and ftp account

Is there any documentation to explain how to setup slide-show?
Slider code should be placed in:
Administration >> Appearance >> Settings (of zoor theme)>> zoor Theme Settings >> Homepage slider >> Slider Code

One strange thing is that the action-box-dark is only in the center

Make sure you have enabled slider from:
Administration >> Appearance >> Settings (of zoor theme)>> zoor Theme Settings >> Homepage slider >> Enable / Disable homepage slider
Try using the demo code provide in /demo-content/Homepage/slider.txt
Also, please post an screenshot of your website homepage.
Slider is enabled.
