BerryPro : I cannot add contents in the homepage

Hello,
I changed the specific homepage delivered in BerryPro in the way to settle two divs side-by side (float : left and float : right). That works well but I do not succeed in adding new contents below in the same region.
Could you help me ?

Even in another region, the block I am intending to display is not visible (neither in wysiwyg mode nor in the code) ...

BerryPro theme has custom homepage with no sidebar block region.
Sidebar block region will not work for homepage.

If you want to display content in different column on homepage, use column shortcode.
